I'm always looking for new decorations for the holiday season that don't seem overly 'christmasy' (yep, I just made Christmas an adjective). I have been looking for a nice, simple, graphic piece I can put in a frame for the holidays to sit on my bookshelf that doesn't seem too over-the-top. After much searching... I finally found one but it's $20. I never want to pay for graphic design work since I know if I take about 20 minutes I can recreate it with some of my own flair. So I did... and I'm going to share it with you!! Now it's Free, Printable, and somewhere between modern and contemporary Christmas Art.
Not bad for free huh?
To make these bad boys all you need is:
1. A computer
2. A printer
3. Some card stock paper (any paper will do but I like 80 lb cardstock)
4. Either a 5 x 7 or an 8 x 10 frame.
5. Scissors or a paper cutter.
Once you gather these resources, download either the 8 x 10 printable (print on 8.5 by 11" standard paper and then trim) or 5 x 7 printable (print on 5.5 x 7.5 inch paper and then trim), print them, trim them and frame them! It's that simple.
When my Christmas decorations go up in a week or so I'll add some images of it in it's 'real' location!
Lemme know what you think!
