Valentine's Day is the perfect day to say "I love you" to your significant other. However, with theaverage person spending $130 for gifts on V-day, it's also a great day to spend a ton of money, perhaps unnecessarily. Since 50% of people also spend that $130 on Red Roses during the holiday- why not think of a new way to produce a similar outcome :).
I wanted a centerpiece for V-Day that I could use throughout the year as a cute piece on a shelf, but I didn't want to spend a ton of money. I found this great tutorial from Tammy Mitchell on how to make super cute paper flowers. The tutorial is simple to follow and I made awesome roses for valentine's day for LESS THAN 5 dollars!! Here's how I did it!

If you look closely at my bathroom mirror frame tutorial, you'll actually see that these flowers now live on the vanity in our main floor bathroom!
So, what do you think, is it better than the real flowers my husband got me 2 years back?
